Merry Christmas!

Since I had some time in the morning before heading off for a dinner with the family.  I spent some time making a horse.  I will likely put either Conan, Subotai, or some other warrior on top of it... It's still in Dynamesh mode.

My Electric Blanka....

Posed up my Blanka and pretty much finalize it (for now) on Photoshop for conceptual use.  This is pretty much my result. I'm using it as my cellphone wallpaper, which looks pretty nifty.

My article on Examiner.com: Epic Fan-Made Trailer of 'Star Wars' trilogy!

I write about films on Examiner.com about couple times a month.

This time I wrote an article about a fan-made trailer on YouTube created by Steven Thomas, this one guy in France.  I also interviewed him.

The article can be found here:

Here is the epic trailer (also available with the article):

I interviewed the guy who made this trailer.

Skeleton, muscles, wolf.

This week, I;ve been working on making a full skeleton with muscles. Continuing on the werewolf, he now has a shirt on...  I've also been making weapons and such for a Conan character, not related to the Zbrush course.

Werewolves, vampires, and cyborgs. Oh My!

Been taking a Zbrush course lately, because I love Zbrush.  I've taken several Zbrush cources before at Gnomon, but trying out the course at Conept Design Academy in Pasadena as it appears to be more design-centered than technique-centered.

Red Engine Environment Concept class

Recently finished up Red Engine Studios' Enivironment Concept course.  I based my concepts on the world from Blade Runner

Everything starts off with rough thumbnails.  Then you build and build.  My other subject was supposed to be Conan the Barbarian, but I decided in the end that Blade Runner simply had more to work with.  I'm also a big fan of Philip K. Dick and the original novel.
